Upcoming Events

Join us for story time and get to know the awesome people in your neighborhood.  Young children and their caregivers are welcome to join us for stories, songs, and movement.  After storytime, we will have a craft or exploratory play including sensory play, for children and their caregivers. Story Time is a fun and simple way to practice early literacy and social skills that little ones will need as they continue on into school. 

 

Patrons AGES 9 and up are invited to join us at the library for a club just for kids. This is NOT a Book Club is not your traditional book club. On the day of the program, we will hang out, talk about the book, create a themed craft, and play games. Once you have registered for our program, you can swing by the library to pick up your copy!  Attendance Policy: If you register for the children's book club and don't attend (without canceling your registration by the start of the program) twice in a row, you will not be able to register for the children's book club for two months.

This engaging program is packed with music, dancing, swaying, running, and jumping that help young children feel the rhythm and begin to understand how their bodies work. Such movements also help them gain muscle control and improve balance.  All this contributes to a child's gross motor development.

The Hudsonville Library Diversity Reading Group has as its mission the goal of bringing together people from all over the City of Hudsonville to stimulate discussions of diversity, equality, and inclusion within the context of each month's book selection.
