 Feeble-Minded and Epileptic in Lapeer was a long-lived institution for ind
 ividuals with wide-ranging disabilities. It ranked among the largest of it
 s kind in the United States, but patients were subject to the institutionâ
 €™s shortcomings. Join us to learn of its success – and its failures.(NO
 TE: Registration for each History Hounds event closes 3 hours prior to the
  event time. Registrations completed after those times will not be process

  History Hounds website (link above), scroll down to see the "Upcomin
 g Lectures" and click on "Read More" for the particular pro
 gram of interest.Register by clicking on the blue "Register" box

 mber of HSM member Organization" and type in the Gary Byker Library n
 ame as the Member Organization.The remaining information is for you to com
 plete. History Hounds will use the email address you provide to send you a
  link to the program on the day of the event.Lectures are every other Wedn
 esday at 7:00 pm, with programs on the opposite Tuesdays at 12 pm noon.Not
 e: When you register for your first lecture, the Michigan Historical Socie
 ty will create a free guest account for you under the email you provide an
