This presentation will cover the basics of solar eclipses, information on the April 8th eclipse, and ways to view an eclipse safely.
Our presenter, Mike Cortright, is an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer, and has been a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador for four years. He is a member of astronomy clubs, including SAAA, Muskegon Astronomical Society (current president), Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Association and Northern Michigan Astronomy Club.
